At VAPEMIXR, I operate on a simple, unwavering principle. Remain a truly independent, unbiased reviewer. Never sponsored. Never paid. Never scripted. If a product is genuinely excellent, it will receive an enthusiastic, positive review. If a brand asks me to say something specific, I will not say it unless my genuine, honest thoughts and experiences with the device align exactly. This is my promise to you, to always be honest, upfront, transparent, and genuine with my thoughts.

They are not influenced by marketing campaigns, brand communications, or any requests from brands. I believe in presenting the unvarnished truth, allowing you to make informed decisions based on genuine, personal experience after actually using the device or juice.

Because I do not accept money for reviews, a positive recommendation from VAPEMIXR is a real, meaningful endorsement. My audience knows that when I praise a product, it is because it genuinely earned it through performance, safety, and reliability.

My independence is my bedrock. I fund my work purely through my own pocket, using the disposable income I have left from my day job. I never accept sponsorships, never accept paid for reviews, and I don't even monetize any of my content. I do this for the love of the industry and dedication to my audience, not brand deals. This ensures my opinions remain solely my own, always. I also will never knowingly advertise or promote anything that might put my audience's finances or data at risk.

The nature of brand relationships

I do not charge fees, nor do I accept payment for reviewing any product. If a brand chooses to send me a product, that is all I require. There are no strings attached, and I do not provide a guaranteed positive rating simply for receiving a sample. However, great products naturally get great reviews.

While I may utilize marketing briefs or feature lists provided by a brand to demonstrate specific functions on camera, I am under no obligation to use them. I retain total editorial control to choose what is relevant and important to my audience.

Furthermore, any material sent to me by a brand, including marketing briefs, scripts, or correspondence, is not treated as confidential. By sending these materials, the sender acknowledges that I reserve the right to share, quote, or display any such information in my review if I deem it relevant for the protection and education of my audience.

At VAPEMIXR, the relationship with my audience is built on a single foundation: Trust. Every collaboration must pass the VAPEMIXR Code.

1. The "Audience First" Rule I will never promote a product, service, or retailer that I would not trust with my own money or data, or actually use myself.

2. Independent Vetting Process I do not accept blind collaborations. Before any brand is mentioned:

  • Physical Testing: I must have the product in hand to verify build quality and performance.

  • Due Diligence: Where applicable, I perform secret shopper tests on retailers to verify checkout security, shipping speeds, and customer service responsiveness.

  • Financial Security: Any site flagged by major financial institutions or found to have suspicious payment gateways is immediately blacklisted.

3. Total Editorial Control & Feedback Philosophy

  • Two-Stage Reviews: I conduct "First Look" unboxing reviews to show packaging and initial experience, followed by a full, in-depth review weeks later once the device has been thoroughly tested.

  • Constructive Feedback: I treat minor flaws or negative points as constructive feedback for the manufacturer rather than direct criticism. However, should I identify issues that are dangerous, hazardous, or not fit for purpose, I reserve the right to be highly critical of both the device and the brand.

  • Harm Reduction Advocacy: I evaluate devices on their reliability and effectiveness as smoking cessation aids. I will not recommend products that are needlessly complex or unreliable for those trying to quit smoking.

  • Right to Update: My responsibility to my audience is ongoing. If I become aware of widespread safety issues or hardware failures after a review is published, I reserve the right to issue a follow-up advisory or remove my recommendation entirely.

4. Content Creation & Scheduling Autonomy I retain full control over what content I create and when it is published. The decision on content production and publication timescales remains entirely my own. While I will always make a reasonable effort to accommodate specific brand scheduling or release date requests where possible, it is never a guarantee. Ultimately, I decide if and when any content goes live.

5. Content Distribution & Platforms I reserve absolute discretion over where, when, and how my content is published. My reviews, unboxings, and teardowns may be distributed across any of my active media channels, including but not limited to YouTube, Rumble, Odysee, Dailymotion, Instagram, Threads, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Fuzzin and vapemixr.com in any format (long-form, shorts, written) I see fit. The choice of platform distribution belongs entirely to VAPEMIXR. While I will make a reasonable effort to accommodate specific platform or format requests from brands where possible, it is not guaranteed.

6. Affiliate Policy I may occasionally utilize affiliate links. I will only engage with these if the brand has fully passed the VAPEMIXR Code and my own rigorous vetting.

  • Transparency: If an affiliate link is used, I will explicitly state the nature of the "kickback" I receive.

  • Audience Benefit: I will only share an affiliate link if it provides a tangible benefit to you, such as a discount or access to a free product.

  • Revocation & Scorched Earth: My editorial independence is paramount. I reserve the right to terminate any affiliate partnership immediately if my opinion of the brand changes or if I discover issues that conflict with my standards. If revocation is actioned, I will actively remove the affiliate link from everywhere it has been shared, and I reserve the right to release future content explicitly advising against using that link, device, or brand.

7. Educational Disclaimer & Technical Expertise

  • Technical Analysis: My teardown and dismantle videos are performed to verify internal build quality and safety. I possess technical knowledge of vaping circuitry and components, allowing me to identify and explain failures where applicable.

  • Safety Warning: As a mandatory safety measure, all disassembly videos include a prominent 10-second on-screen disclaimer: "do not try this at home, I am an idiot." This content is for educational purposes only; I do not encourage or endorse users attempting to modify their own hardware.

8. Geographic Relevance & Accessibility I will only review and feature products that are available for purchase for the bulk of my audience. While I may occasionally feature devices from around the world, my videos are focused purely on what my audience has the chance to actually buy. Given that the majority (65%+) of my audience is based in the United Kingdom, I primarily only review products available, or soon to be released, in the UK.

9. Ethical Standards & Compliance VAPEMIXR strictly adheres to vaping regulations. I will only work with brands that (where applicable):

  • Enforce strict age-verification (18+ / 21+).

  • Provide clear ingredient/material transparency.

  • Operate with legitimate business credentials.

  • Follow all government guidance, regulations and laws.

  • No Pay-to-Play: I do not accept payment in exchange for a guaranteed positive review.

  • A True User Perspective: You should send a device to VAPEMIXR if you want a real, genuine user review. If your product is excellent, it will receive an incredibly strong, authentic recommendation that my audience knows they can trust.

  • The "Back-Out" Policy: If a brand chooses not to send a product after reading this code, it does not stop the review. I have historically purchased the vast majority of products I review with my own money. If a brand retreats after reading these terms, it significantly increases the likelihood of me purchasing the product myself to investigate why they were hesitant to participate.

  • Confidentiality Waiver: Any materials provided, including marketing briefs or technical specifications, are provided on a non-confidential basis. VAPEMIXR reserves the right to disclose or publish any such materials in the interest of audience education.

  • Scheduling & Production: Sending a product does not grant a brand control over my upload schedule or content pipeline. Publication dates requested by brands are treated as preferences, not deadlines.

  • Distribution Rights: By supplying a product or material, brands acknowledge that VAPEMIXR holds exclusive rights over content distribution. You cannot dictate, limit, or restrict which platforms the content is posted to, nor can you demand the removal of content from specific platforms once published.

  • Affiliate Disclaimer: Acceptance into an affiliate program is conditional and secondary to my editorial independence. Approval is granted only after a product passes all internal vetting and performance checks. Brands are explicitly warned that violations of this code will result in the immediate removal of all active links and future content advising against your brand.

  • Liability: VAPEMIXR acts as an independent consumer advocate. All reviews reflect personal experience and professional opinion. Brands providing products for review agree that VAPEMIXR shall not be held liable for any impact on brand reputation resulting from honest, evidence-based reviews.

Evolution of the Code

This code was born from past interactions with multiple brands and is shaped by the lessons learned through real-world experience in the industry. Because corporate practices and marketing tactics continuously change, VAPEMIXR reserves the right to update, alter, or expand these terms at any time. Any future updates will be published directly to this page to ensure my standards remain uncompromised and fully publicly available to my audience and any brands I work with.
