My independence is my bedrock – I fund my work purely through my own pocket, using the disposable income I have left from my day job. I never accept sponsorships, never accept 'paid for' reviews, I don't even monetize any of my content. I do this for the love of the industry and dedication to my audience, not brand deals. This ensures my opinions remain solely my own, always. I also will never knowingly advertise or promote anything that might put my audiences finances or data at risk.

but don't brands send you stuff for free?

Sometimes, yes, they do. But they do it with full knowledge that the review I put out will be entirely honest and may be completely the opposite to what they expect. I never charge them fees, and a brand cannot buy a good review. And surprisingly, the majority of brands are happy with this and still send me free products, even if I have previously been highly critical of their products in the past. I will always be upfront, and in every video I make it clear where the product came from (bought it myself, free sample, sent to me for free).

I do not accept "blind" collaborations. Before any brand is mentioned:

  • Physical Testing: I must have the product in hand to verify build quality and performance.

  • Due Diligence: I perform "secret shopper" tests on retailers to verify checkout security, shipping speeds, and customer service responsiveness.

  • Financial Security: Any site flagged by major financial institutions or found to have suspicious payment gateways is immediately blacklisted.

3. Total Editorial Control

I do not follow scripts, and I do not "sell" positive opinions.

  • Brands are informed upfront that my reviews will be 100% honest, covering both pros and cons.

  • I do not allow brands to preview or edit my videos before they are published.

  • If a product is dangerous or substandard, I will say so. This may include telling my audience to stay away from your product..

With a majority (65%+) of my audience based in the United Kingdom, I prioritize brands that offer reliable, legal, and efficient shipping to the UK. I will not knowingly promote a service that is inaccessible or non-functional for the bulk of my community.

  • Provide clear ingredient/material transparency.

  • Operate with legitimate business credentials.
